Privacy Policy

Lappian GmbH (hereinafter Lappian) stores the personal data of its customers in its customer and marketing register in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations. The primary basis for the processing of personal data is the customer relationship (booking a trip), the customer's consent (newsletter, booking a trip) or another factual context. Lappian is also the data controller for both the customer register and the marketing register. The customer register is collected for the management of customer relations and customer care. 

The data is stored in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations and is destroyed after the specified retention period has expired. The customer and marketing register may contain the following information, among others: Customer's name, date of birth, home address, telephone number, e-mail address, the booked trip and any other information provided by the Customer to Lappian when booking the trip or later upon explicit request. Lappian does not carry out any profiling with regard to customer data. 

Personal data will be retained in Lappian's customer and marketing records until deleted or requested to be deleted for reasonable reasons. The retention period is 5 years after the last contact. For legal reasons, some data may need to be retained for longer. Customer data is only accessible to Lappian employees and is password protected. Records are only stored in services that comply with applicable laws and regulations. 

Lappian does not share customer data with third parties. The customer data contained in the marketing register is not passed on to third parties. 

For online payments, Paytrail collects the IP address, the payment method and the time of payment in connection with the payment transaction. 

Users can disable Google cookies on the opt-out page (LINK HERE).

A person registered in the client register has the right to request access to all information that Lappian has stored about that person in its client and/or marketing register. The request for inspection is in principle free of charge. The data subject may also request the correction, deletion or restriction of incorrect, unnecessary, incomplete or outdated information. The data subject may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if Lappian has not complied with the data protection regulations applicable to the storage of personal data.
